The Warn Hub Receiver and app took out this year’s SEMA ‘Best New Off-Road/4-Wheel Drive Product’ award.

Warn took out the ‘Best New Off-Road/4-Wheel Drive Product’ award at this year’s recent SEMA 360 event with its innovative Hub Receiver and app that lets four-wheel drivers operate their winch using the Bluetooth connection on a smart device.

The Warn HUB Receiver and app was launched earlier this year, and it consists an IP68-rated HUB Receiver that connects into the winch using the existing winch remote socket, or included wiring (depending on winch model). The App then communicates with the Receiver via Bluetooth. Warn says the set-up has a range of up to 100 feet (30m), and as well as winch operation it can monitor and display the vehicle’s battery voltage.

Upon winning the SEMA award, Warn Industries’ Vice President and General Manager, Kyle Shiminski, said, “On behalf of the entire Warn Industries team, thank you very much for recognising Warn’s HUB Receiver & App and our new Ascent XP bumper as new product award winners.

“Warn’s 72+ year heritage is cultivated on creative design talent combined with execution to transform ideas into reality. Our HUB wireless receiver has helped stretch our imagination while making the winching experience that much more simple and safe.

“Many thanks to the SEMA organisation and to the judges for their continued dedication to making this SEMA 360 event happen in as safe an environment as possible. We would also like to congratulate the other New Product award winners and runner-ups for their continued pursuit of new designs in the industry we all love.”

Warn says the HUB Receiver and app is compatible with all Warn 4×4 winch models (except the Zeon Platinum), including the recently upgraded M8274, and it will also offer versions that will work with other winch brands.

This year’s runners-up were the new ARB Pressure Control Unit (pictured below) and the Westin/Superwinch Overland Cargo Rack.
