This time lapse LandCruiser restoration is epic!

In this week’s Throwback Thursday we’ve got an awesome time-lapse LandCruiser restoration – a video showing a frame-off, no-expense-spared restoration of a 1974 Toyota LandCruiser FJ40.

The time-lapse LandCruiser restoration video, which was produced by Clarence B’s Old School Garage in the US, is not a short one at 40-minutes long, but it shows – in great detail – exactly what’s involved in making a 46 year old LandCruiser look absolutely brand-spanking new again.

The restoration was filmed over a year and there were 1400 hours of hard work put into it. The old Cruiser is brought back to totally original condition, other than the fitment Old Man Emu shock absorbers and later-model replacement doors.

The team who performed this restoration says it can help customers source the right LandCruiser in Costa Rica, import it to the US and have a similar restoration done to the one you can see in this time-lapse video. Of course, if you live here in Australia there are plenty of other restoration experts who can help you get your Cruiser looking like new again.

Anyway, here’s the complete 40-minute video:
