The Ev’itor’s column: The show must go on
Sydney 4WD Adventure Show wrap up
This is a big issue for me personally; first of all Issue 056 of Unsealed 4X4 is my 50th with the company and 14th issue as Editor. Time has certainly flown by, and I’m thankful to each and every staff member who has helped in any way during that time. I’d also like to thank you, the reader, for your support – without you we wouldn’t have made it past five issues of the biggest, and in my opinion best, digital off-road publication in the world. When you think about the output of other 4WD publications in the digital space, and the fact we have put out 56 issues of Unsealed 4X4 it really is quite an achievement. Bring on the next 50 issues!
The other reason I’m jumping up and down like an excited kid the day before his birthday, is we’ve just wrapped up the 4WD Adventure Show season. As always, it’s a wonderful experience being able to meet Unsealed 4X4 readers, and chat about everything four-wheel drive. I even had the opportunity to do a few presentations on-stage with my friend and colleague Scott Mason (Editor of our print magazine). Thanks to those who braved the rain, and made time to have a chat with us and check out Project Rusty in all its glory on our stand. Speaking of Rusty, stay tuned for a massive update on our ex-mines LandCruiser build … it’s all happening here, folks.
