Are you feeling flat? Need to jump-start your day? OzCharge claims that its new Kanga-12-500 is capable of up to 500,000 jump-starts at the push of a button. Most importantly, this device does not require batteries. The Kanga-12-500 uses a vehicle’s flat battery (provided it has more than 3 volts) to charge, and then it only requires a push of a button to start the car. Even if your vehicle’s battery has less than 3V of charge, you can transfer power to your car from another source such as a USB port or other car batteries using the Kanga-12-500. This eliminates the need to carry jumper leads. OzCharge claims that this device is capable of jump-starting petrol and gas vehicles with engine sizes up to 5 litres. For owners of larger petrol and diesel engines, OzCharge is set to release the Kanga-12-1000 in December this year.
