Mazda Australia has announced there will be more than 100 optional accessories for the new BT-50 when it launches in October.
Coming off the back of its launch details for the new BT-50, Mazda Australia has just announced that there will be more than 100 optional accessories for the range upon its launch in October, 2020. The new accessories to match the all-new model will be protected by the same comprehensive warranty that covers the entire vehicle, which lasts five years and unlimited kilometres.
The Mazda Australia in-house design team has been hard at work on the optional accessory range, which includes a premium bullbar that integrates with the vehicle’s new swathe of safety features. The new ‘Queensland Bar’, as it is called, has been developed for heavy-duty applications like those found in the far north of the country. The bar will be made from high-grade black-finished steel with the offer of additional headlight hoops for full frontal protection.
Further to the ‘Queensland Bar’, there will also be a premium sports bar, which is finished in black and also made from high-grade steel. This sports bar is fitted with sideplates infilled with the ‘BT-50’ insignia that will, according to Mazda, give a “truly purposeful presence, and blend perfectly with the soft tonneau cover”. As per the previous model, the soft tonneau cover will not feature age-old bungie cords, which is said to increase durability and provide a smoother style and finish.
“The commercial vehicle segment is of vital importance to Mazda Australia, and a strong accessories offer brings further customer personalisation opportunities,” Vinesh Bhindi, Managing Director of Mazda Australia said. “With its modern yet tough design and class-leading safety, Brand-New Mazda BT-50 has moved the game on, particularly in terms of design and safety. With an extensive Mazda Genuine Accessories range available from launch, the new BT-50 can be tailored to suit the job at hand, whether at work or play,” he said.
