ARB Intensity AR21

If you’ve been after a set of ARB’s Intensity lights for quite a while, but you’ve found them to be too expensive, or possibly too big, you’re in luck. The New Intensity AR21 isn’t just smaller, but it’s cheaper, and it maintains the same build quality you’ve come to expect. It measures in at 184mm by 209mm (including the mounting bracket) and has an IP68 waterproof rating just like its big brother. The 21 LED array has an output of 6950 raw lumens.

Available February 2015, $495 ea

Bushwacker Ranger Flares

So you’re looking to put a lift on your brand-new Ranger, and along with it a set of nice offset alloy wheels. That’s all fun and games, but don’t forget that you’re going to need to cover up those tyres and wheels now that they’re sticking out of your arches. Bushwacker has been the name in four-wheel drive fenders for decades, and they’ve just released a set for the Ford Ranger that’ll give you an additional 45mm of coverage on each side. Made from rugged UV-protected Dura-Flex 2000 material, they’re finished in a flat black and come with a limited lifetime warranty. Perfect for your aggressive setup.

Garmin VIRB Elite

GPS innovator Garmin is the latest to enter the action camera craze with their new VIRB Elite, and I have to say, there’s been quite a bit of thought that’s gone into this unit. The 16 megapixel CMOS sensor is capable of recording 1080p HD video, and the Chroma display allows for easy playback in all kinds of conditions. Being Garmin, there’s a high-sensitivity GPS onboard that also has an accelerometer and a barometric altimeter—so you can pinpoint exactly where you took the video. It’s all controlled by big, easy to use buttons that clearly show you if the unit is recording.

KC Modular LED Lights

KC is one of the original off-road lighting pioneers, and the creator of the iconic smiley face spottie cover. We’re not sure how they’ll fit a smiley face on their latest range of LEDs, but we’re also not sure that it really matters because they’re so good looking you wouldn’t want to cover them up. The LED lights are modular and allow you to join them together using special connectors to create a seemingly endless amount of configurations. That means you can start off with a small set, and keep adding LEDs as your need for them rises. Sounds like a great idea to us.

MAXTRAX in Silver

MAXTRAX are a high-quality recovery device that makes getting out of a sticky situation a breeze.

You’ve probably seen them on the tracks before in their usual orange colour, but they’ve just released an all-new silver colour, and they’re perfect for those looking for something a little bit more discreet that matches the colour of their vehicle.

Pelican Light

With a staggering 305 lumen output on its highest setting, the rechargeable Pelican 2380R LED Flashlight will run for up to 3 hours and 30 minutes, and that’s quite impressive. When switched to its lowest mode that puts out around 30 lumens, it’ll run for a staggering 25 hours. It’s also USB compatible and charges from a micro-USB port from your computer, USB wall adapter, or USB vehicle port. Quite a good value at $120.

REDARC Gauges

REDARC has just launched an all-new series of 52mm LCD/LED gauges, sensors and accessories. Made in Australia, they have the ability to function as two or three gauges in one and can be used to monitor a wide arrange of vehicle parameters. They’re even capable of measuring your winch and fridge temperature. If you’re looking to keep track of your vehicle, these are the gauges you need. It’s worth a look.

Rigid Capture LED Light

“It was too dark and the GoPro didn’t catch it!” You’ll never hear that again with Rigid’s new Capture LED Light Bar, which includes a waterproof mount and charger for the GoPro Hero wedged in between high-output LED lights to make sure you always get the shot you want. Considering the biggest pain of recording your adventure with a GoPro is tied between mounting the camera and keeping it charged, this light bar kills a few birds with one stone, and that’s why we like it!

Prices to be announced.
