That’s right! The 2020 National Perentie Auction is live right now and Australian Frontline Machinery (AFM) claims this auction includes the very best examples of the most exclusive and unique Land Rover Perenties direct from the Australian Defence Force.
Although hosted out of Albury, NSW, the 2020 National Perentie Auction is held online, so it allows all Australians the opportunity to participate. Even if you live thousands of kilometres away, all ex-military Land Rover auction vehicles can be inspected through videos and live streaming, and vehicle history and condition reports are available. “We’ve brought to life the physical aspects of the event into a digital environment, giving Australians equal opportunity to inspect auction vehicles,” Tara O’Hara, Marketing & Sales Manager, Australian Frontline Machinery said.
Serviced and maintained by the Australian Defence Force for more than 20 years, AFM says many of these ‘best of’ 4X4 and 6X6 Land Rover Perentie 110 variants come with fresh paint and new canopies.
With a limited number of ‘Perenties’ left in the Australian Defence Force inventory, two particular Surveillance and Reconnaissance SRV (SF) vehicles have quickly become the prizes of the 2020 National Perentie Auction. With only 43 examples ever built, this auction could be your only chance to ever secure one of these pieces of Australian military history.
