The 2020 Land Rover Defender’s reveal is only a week or so away, but an uncovered Defender has been snapped on the set of the new James Bond movie.

Social media is melting today as a single image showing an uncovered 2020 Land Rover Defender, from the set of the new, as-of-yet-unnamed, James Bond movie, surfaced on Facebook overnight. The picture gives us the clearest indication yet as to what we can expect when the covers come off the new Defender at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

While the Land Rover logo has been taped over on the front of the Defender, there’s no missing the Defender badge on the bonnet, or the Alpine windows at the back. The in-built winch is a nice touch – will be interesting to see if that makes it to market as an accessory.

This same image has appeared on Facebook and is being shared a lot right now; and it’s made its way onto Instagram via Sherlocktwothousand where we grabbed this image.

Our man in Blightly has already had a good look at the outside and inside of the new Defender and had a good chat to those who’ve been working on it; we’ll bring his feature to you when the covers (and the embargo) come off the thing at the Frankfurt Motor Show in early September. Stay tuned.

Until then, what do you think of the uncovered Defender?
