For the fifteenth year, the TLCC used their 320-acre Southern Highlands property to play host to the Willowglen Challenge over the October long weekend.

Almost 60 vehicles from 11 different 4WD clubs across NSW and the ACT competed in the challenge, vying for thousands of dollars in prizes.

The first of 10 stages were Friday night’s ‘Moonlit Ravine’, with a single vehicle from each team chosen to compete with nothing but the lights on their 4X4s to guide them through the dark. The remaining stages took place over the weekend, with all competitors attempting each of the courses, culminating in the traditional Sunday afternoon boghole.

When the sun finally set on another successful Willowglen, it was the Lithgow 4WD Club that emerged victorious for the first time in the history of the event. Second place went to past winners from Brindabella Ranges, and the ACT All Terrain Club rounded out the podium.
