TRACK REPORTS – New South Wales

Things are fairly quiet in NSW currently, the State must be in hiding after the recent disappointing State Of Origin performance… Kosciuszko National Park is experiencing snow, and there are some traffic delays however roads are open. This includes Kosciuszko Road to Perisher and Spencers Creek, Alpine Way to Thredbo is also open however there are icy stretches from Cascades to Leatherbarrel Creek. Snowy Mountains Highway is open, as well as Gunthega Road heading towards the village. All drivers are to be prepared and equipped for sudden changes in road and weather conditions however. Numerous roads have been closed in the Narromine Shire though, as floods have affected roads surfaces. To contact the local council, phone (02) 6889 9999.
