SEALSKINZ MTB HYDROSTOP WATERPROOF SOCKS

By Evan Spence 2 Min Read

Sure it is after Christmas now, and you are probably still putting away the pile of socks your mother-in-law bought for you; but are any of those socks waterproof? These here socks are designed for mountain bike riders, and according to the SealSkinz team they are the perfect balance between thickness and breathability whilst being waterproof. So how the heck does that work? Hydrostop technology stops water entering the top of the socks, as the fit to your leg is more secure. An outer membrane called Stretchdry is also incorporated which can stretch more than the truth on a Friday night at the pub with your mates. Basically, we don’t know how they work… it is some sort of magic. But if they do what they promise, we’d be happy to see a pair poorly wrapped under a fake tree at the end of the year.
